ČERNÁK is fabulous up until the point he goes to jail. There the narrative lacks a strong directorial grip, and unfortunately the ending is not as strong as it could have been. But for the rest of the film, FABULOUS!

This was one of the best made documentaries I’ve ever seen. Very playful, widely accessible for all types of audiences. Very offbeat, clever and beautifully animated. Characters were introduced in a coherent way, and story was well told. On top of that I had no idea what the film is about, which made my screening ever so special.
