Felt like it flew by. The finale act really was fast.
Replicants can give birth, they can feel, form relationships, I think the only thing that separated them from humans was belief in themselves.
Maybe that’s why Rachael was special. Created to believe they were human. Everyone else is told from creation of their slavery. A great lie to hold them in place.
Visuals and soundtrack were stunning. It’s less of the soundtrack even. The sound design uses these loud, oppressive, revving of machines as these almost gothic chants.

Astonishingly beautiful film. The colors, lighting, and cinematography are excellent, and I really love the noir style colors towards the last third of the movie.
I really like the sound design and how the music always fades when u cut away from the scene/activity the music is happening in. You really do feel immersed in Hiroyama’s life.
The sleep scenes are interesting, and they remain a mystery. I like that the film never tells us why Hiroyama lives a reclusive…
