I really wanted to like it but there’s really not much going on. Some of the stylish homages to old adventure tv shows were fun but too far and few between. Idk how this made it out so bland when for such a different idea for Disney. On paper that’s so much interesting stuff going on, but they rly fumbled those ideas.

Last summer, I took my first MCAT and watched Past Lives immediately after, which was written and directed by Celine Song
Today, I watched this, which was written by Justin Kuritzkes, after taking my second MCAT.
Both of those movies were their firsts, and they’re married. It’s kinda cool that I watched them both for the first time on MCAT days
This, like Past Lives, is also amazing. Maybe the best of the year. Will def be up there all year. It’s just right up my alley. Maybe I’ll come down a little by tomorrow, but for now I’m loving it.
