Rustin 2023
On top of discovering and learning about Bayard Rustin through a passionate performance by Coleman Domingo, I found the movie to be exciting and to bring light not only on MLK or the march but on the organization of the march itself. That is at the heart of this film. How does one organize the biggest peaceful march of the century? With great difficulty it seems. Although it might not receive much praise and attention from both award shows and the public this year, I believe it will age finely (even through some of its flaws).
