Who are we? Where are we? And why are we drawn to puddles…?
I can’t find much flaws in this one, except for the acting skills of the suffering wife. We had a long discussion after the movie, which is rare after your standard Hollywood blockbuster.
Overwhelming CGI work, disappointing and shallow plot around chasing Jake Sully, who talks like a quarterback. Plenty cliché stories around parenting, where one hoped for more of the political depth of the first one. But luckily the ones looking for story could be sure to be quickly distracted by a firework of splashy special effects and glow in the dark underwater fireworks. I had tears in my eyes in the end, but not because it touched my heart, it just wore out my retina.
