This was super fun and super sweet (although quite violent in places). I love Ryan Gosling in these Nice Guys type action hero/comedy/romance roles. And Emily Blunt was a ton of fun, and she’s not always my fave. Love stunts, loved hearing the 6 million dollar man sound effect for no reason, loved hearing the theme song…

Colossal 2016
I really like the premise and performances in this film - it’s largely very believable in its weirdness, and I like the pivot midway that what you think the monster represents isn’t quite what the monster represents. That said - a certain character’s pivot/progression doesn’t feel wholly believable/consistent to me and I wanted to spend less time with their slightly implausible actions during the second half.
