10/10 for the acting
10/10 for the scene of Jim Stark vs his parents
10/10 for the scene where they explore the villa
10/10 for the end scene in the observatorium
But the ending with the family and Plato is not so moving as I tought.
Although the beginning at the observatorium didn't catch me enough.
Maybe I will rate it higher after a second watch.
I would say it is a must watch film, because of the portray of the silent generation and their problems and thoughts.
...and because of the portray of the need of love, support, recognition and orientation.

Geoffrey Mason: We never said it was a fact. We used, "As we are hearing".
Marvin Bader: That's a fucking technicality, Geoff.Real. Intense. Chaotic. Shocking.
In my opinion it is the best Picture about the cruelty of journalism since "Nightcrawler". What has to be shown by live television? Which impact has live television? But the most important difference between these two movies is that this picture tells us a true story of the past. And although if you now the ending, it is quite captivating.Oscar nominated screenplay, and it deserves it! Well made!
