  i incredibly loved this script. i find it so fascinating that our world views scientists & science as inherently apolitical and truth bearing, and also expect them to be loyal to an empire’s grandeur whims. the Trinity test scene wasn’t even my favorite; it was the audience-in-the-bleachers scene. this movie is a nightmare for your ears in the best possible way. simply incredible script. mutually assured destruction between oppenheimer and strauss’s trials showing the false promise of creating such things in the first place.

  wanted to know why this movie kept on promising an alluring turn or new conflict and didn’t deliver. then i learned it was produced by the Obamas
