Devastating and powerful - the single shot episodes force you to sit with each scene and fully take in each moment. Cinematography and acting aside, this show unfortunately seemed to glaze over the victim - mentioning her only a few times and never really delving into the impact on her loved ones. For a series that aims to depict the dangers of social media and misogyny, it lacked focus and felt borderline disrespectful in the portrayal of the murder victim, Katie. Just another example of the perpetrator receiving all of the attention and the victim being forgotten- which is ironically a plot point in this series.
