Honorable mention for my top four. The symbolism and performances of this movie are incredible. The way Joe Wright moves the story and its themes forward with the camera is masterful. The choice to use the stage, backstage, pit, etc. of a theater as settings to represent class environments in Imperial Russia was brilliant, and I wish more people understood that. Not a single performance disappointed me and the relationship chemistry was perfectly balanced between them. If you loved Matthew Macfayden in Succession you will adore him in this!
