Some Spielberg movies are for the girls (west side story), some are for the boys (saving private ryan) but most Spielberg movies are for the high school history teachers (my dad). And high school teachers deserve good movies, too!
The star for me is Tony Kushner and his screenplay that rewards both history buff and APUSH student. It’s clever, sharp and very precise. I know he’s busy being playwright but he should work on more scripts
The preachiest screenplay maybe ever. Took away from the realism I CONSTANTLY was aware I was watching by a movie
Such a great time at the movies! However the consistent, incandescent, aggressive BACKLIGHTING is a war CRIME!!! Seriously what is up with that!!!
