Watched in latin spanish dub so I cannot speak regarding Gal Gadot’s acting because the dub was really good !
The thing with the film is that it ended up being marketed as a live action version instead of what it actually is: a retelling. It adds some depth to the story and also changes key aspects but it does enrich the story IMO.
It’s very obviously for kids and that’s OKAY but just keep it in mind if you are planning to go the cinema.

Recuerdo nos enseñaban sobre el tema en la escuela, esto a los 10, 11 años. Ya a esa temprana edad, aprendimos todo lo sucedido, además mis padres también me contaron la historia y tienen todos los libros, por lo que llegue a leer un par.
Ver este acontecimiento plasmado en pantalla con tal respeto hacia nuestra cultura (y en idioma español!!) y hacia los involucrados, es sin duda hermoso.…
