This movie is so bad, its good. Its one of my comfort films and an attempt to dethrone ET. But i fell in love with the main character (analog to ET) and how adorable he was and i think the music is spectacular (specifically: “Waves”, “Take Me, I’ll Follow You”, and “Send Out a Signal”). Quintessential 80’s soundtrack and the sax just hits every time. It has some heartfelt moments that never fail to make me emotional and i recommend 10/10 if u want to laugh and dont take it too serious.
