    Watched with a bunch of my college buddies. All I’m saying is if this unabashedly silly and pure camp superhero movie came out in 2016, it would get a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, but I guess Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins spoiled people by that point.     While embarrassingly bad and contains some of the worst editing and ADR I’ve ever seen… I’m surprised that it’s generally a better put together movie than Venom: The Last Dance.

    I watched these in a 10-hour flight, for what it’s worth.

    Maybe I just don’t “get” it. Maybe it’s because it’s my first viewing. And I realize the many layers and meaningful themes in the movie… but I didn’t understand why any of the characters were doing what they were doing—I didn’t get to understand them—besides Tommy Lee Jones but he was barely in the movie. Javier Bardem’s “Chigur” was a powerful and scary presence but even he felt underdeveloped to me.
