Well, that was disappointing. Very pretty to look at, as usual for Ishiro Honda, but very monotonous and uninspired in just about every other way. For Honda’s first Kaiju movie since Godzilla ‘54, it’s one heck of a downgrade. The Rodan suits are beautiful though.
