Quality production, great performances all round that felt authentic and great aesthetic shots.

But uh, what was the point of that exactly?
I guess that’s art for ya.

Shits can hit the fan, disturbances are always bound to occur and hinder your process, but as long as you embrace it all and show up, it’s a win in itself.

Maybe uh, that’s my take on this piece of art, as I sip on wine and look for reassurances around me.

Nothing I could say that hasn’t already been said about this piece, I understand now why it’s a cult classic.

Whatever praises this film has gotten, I recognise them all.

    Way ahead of its time.

I wanna be on that goddamn train.

Why didn’t I watch this day one? This is how you do it when you simply want to make a fun, chaotic film with colorful, memorable characters. You can tell the cast had fun filming this. When I can see myself rewatching a film, that usually means it’s good. This is one of them. I’m glad Brad Pitt was in this and Aaron Taylor Johnson kinda stood out for me.

Turn your brain off and have fun.

    Knock at the Cabin

    ★★★½

Not really a Shyamalan fan but I have to give credit for Knock At The Cabin. That was a tough script to sell by the cast. Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge were great enough to save the film from being totally mid. Also one of the most intriguing intros I have seen.
