Poltergeist 1982
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I'm quite sad that I couldn't enjoy this one as much as I wanted to. The beginning felt very promising, I was hooked by the 80s Spielberg suburbia. But after the plot kind of started to unravel, nothing was really happening. The story and pacing were all over the place and there was way too much humor slammed in, in order to remind me who produced this.

Nosferatu 2024
Another Eggers-Movie, after the Northman, I sadly didn't enjoy. Much like the Northman it feels more like a "historically accurate" depiction of the source-material and nothing more. It's devoid of fun, sex or true horror. Much of the set design is really pretty and the shots are also very good, but other than that it tells very meh. Also Count Orlok looks like Jim Carey's Doctor Eggman.

Joker: Folie à Deux 2024
Not a fun watch and much more deconstruction and apology for the first film, which somewhat works. There is much more potential and there for sure is a version of this script, that could become a great movie. Sadly it's afraid to completely commit the character of Harley Quinn and her relationship with the Joker.
