  Snow White 2025

  At least Rachel Zegler and Andrew Burnap can sing (incredibly in her case) and their song “Princess Problems” together was pretty fun. Carried by Zegler’s charisma, a lot of the movie can be at least enjoyable. Of course the same thing cannot be said about the other costar Gal Gadot who doesn’t seem to be able to read a line normally, and who absolutely cannot preform the villain song that musically seems fine otherwise. 

  But I don’t want to give any more thought to this movie. If you want live action Snow White, watch Once Upon A Time

  Layered frame story telling with contradicting points of view? This is very Rashomon-esq if I do say so myself

  I mean it's not great but it's biggest problem is being generic. The art that this movie comes from is unique, distinct, lonely and - despite copying some of the illustrations directly into shots of the film - this movie feels so indistinct. I cannot believe the amount of soundtrack over score. It ends with instrumental Wonderwall. Upsetting .

  Also Mr. Peanut marketing main character is kinda infuriating.

  Novocaine 2025

  Novocaine is a really stupid action movie, which leaves me surprised to say I really loved it. 

  I thought the action was fun and quite unique. More than one moment genuinely shocked me, and detailed personal injury is something that stresses me out more than extreme horror gore - so I was wincing from this a couple of times.
