  For someone with relatively little experience in horror movies, I am very glad that Hereditary was my introduction to the genre. However, even I was able to tell that this movie was not your typical gory slasher and boring toy doll comes to life film.   - The story is as scary as it is real. It really displays how much of a life wrecker addiction is. Most importantly, this film treated the subject matter with dignity and respect.
