Civil War is a suspenseful, gut-wrenching thrill ride that thankfully has no interest in preaching to its audience which side is right or wrong. The film’s only message is that in a civil war, there is no glory or victory. Only death, pain, violence, and loss.

The best thing a film can do is know what it is, and Cocaine Bear knows exactly what it is and never shies away from it. This is an absurdly hilarious and bloody ride that never takes itself too seriously while still giving an earnest effort in putting together a plot that is fun and simple, along with characters that are a blast to either root for or against.
