I honest to God think this might be the best movie I've seen in a long time. This is gonna be remembered as one of the all time greats and I don't even think Luca has peaked yet.

I was very excited for this one. Lots of friends had hyped it up and the trailer looked like something right up my alley; but alas, I was very let down. Definitely a lot of fun. Hunter is a great lead, Dan Stevens is chewing scenery like it’s an overcooked slab of steak and the visuals are honestly worth the price of admission alone. This felt more sweet than horrific? A film about learning to love the family you get stuck with and can feel in competition with in understanding each others struggles. It’s super underwritten though and I think this won’t hold up much on rewatch. I want to see more from tilman singer though. I think he could direct a script he didn’t write fantastically.
