This year’s Oscar’s are pretty damn depressing tbh.. I think I’m just gonna watch Family Guy until the Oscars start. Can’t find “I’m Still Here” anywhere so hopefully it doesn’t win anything. I’ll give predictions tho:
Best Picture probably goes to The Brutalist. But in my opinion there’s a lot of films that deserves it. If Anora, The Brutalist, Dune or The Substance win I’m content.

I was actually supposed to go into surgery today, but the surgeon had a medical emergency. Instead, I went to see this film, and wow! This is one of the movies I’ve been most excited about, and it did not disappoint. Sean Baker, as always, has directed an entertaining and wild film filled with compelling characters, stunning cinematography, and an amazing tone. Pretty good.. literally had to slap myself in the face on multiple occasions to keep myself awake. Not the movies fault tho - it’s just been a long day. Now leave me alone.

This doc summarized: Some people have homes, some people are homeless, homeless = poor and dirty and so many homeless in USA - not good! 😡 - here’s footage of homeless people for proof. We at multi-billion dollar corporation not out-of-touch we promise.
They’re just pointing out an issue. And oh my god the interviews 😫 they’re presenting it like we’ve never heard about homelessness before. Maybe contribute something new? Present a possible solution? Teach us something! You know since you’re nominated for a fucking Oscar and all.
