Anora 2024
Anora is one of those films that confuses me in terms of why it received so much praise. Mikey Madison carried the majority of the film; however, at around the halfway point, it just became boring. Around 30 minutes of the film was the characters just going around places looking for someone. The best part of the film is when they are all in the mansion trying to figure out the situation. The soundtrack was always great. It was comedic at times and is seen as a more raunchy pretty woman but that was ultimately the better film.

An incredible and harrowing exposé of race relations in America. Edward Norton gives a career-best performance in this tale of redemption that does not hold back.
