  I bet this film features more songs than any musical released this year. It was difficult to follow the story since there was a song after every scene. I reckon they tried to tell the story of Bob Dylan through his lyrics but it didn't work for me.

  Definitely Denis Villeneuve is becoming one of my favorite directors of our era. Arrival is excellent in every aspect, visually enjoyable and mind-fucking story. I love sci-fi films where every scene is cared and it has a meaning, it's not the typical alien invasion where aliens come to destroy our planet.
