    I loved The Florida Project for a lot of reasons, but one of the best things about it was how colorful and childlike everything felt. It really made it seem like we were seeing the world through the kids’ point of view. At the same time, you could see the reality behind the curtain—a sad, messed-up story about poverty. To me, that film felt like a high point in any director's career.

    I'd rate it a 6 out of 10. While it had some compelling elements, I’m not particularly a fan of horror or period films, so this was a bit of a shot in the dark for me—and it didn’t entirely land.
