    I forgot just how much of a trip this movie is.

    Probably one of the most notable outliers in Scorsese’s catalogue that lets us see a different side of his storytelling.

    There’s so much absurdity and humor seeped into this. And the character of Paul is so interesting to analyze because he’s a seemingly innocent figure that you want to root for, yet he is so insufferable at times and has you maybe thinking he deserves everything thats happening to…

    Man, I’m real mad I never saw this when it was in theaters. I feel like that is the only true way to watch a movie like this.

    I’m torn because on one hand, you absolutely have to praise it’s gall and tenacity in regards to the cinematography and the feat that it is to pull off a shoot like this, but on another hand, for me, it really lacked a lot of narrative substance.

    But on another OTHER third…
