I had forgotten it was directed by Nolan and just thought of it as the other magic starring 2 actors I'm not interested in (In general Jackman is fine, but forgettable and Bale is technically amazing, but has negative charisma to me.   Luca Guadagnino's horny tennis movie is very watchable if reliably nonsensical. Geniuses Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross provide the largely dance club score . The tennis is the background (lots of the details are authentic, the ones that aren't won't be picked up on by non-tennis fans) to the story of a decade + romantic triangle (Zendaya, Mike Faist, and Josh O'Connor). Luca's movies aren't for everyone, but I enjoyed it.
