  One of many strengths that film as a medium has over all others is its ability to capture/express a specific feeling. Inside Llewyn Davis does this as good as, if not better than, any film I’ve seen.

  Been almost a couple years since I first watched it and I wasn’t entirely into it then. I think the main difference for me personally connecting more with the film now is my love for folk music that’s grown enormously since, especially this era of folk music in the early ‘60s.

  I wish films like these still had theatrical releases. Would be fun in a packed crowd. Fuck streaming. Genuinely curious as to why there isn’t a higher demand for these comedies with the general public.

  Definitely 30 minutes too long. Would be much better sticking to being a ridiculous comedy without the attempted serious/emotional scenes. John Cena is almost the only good/funny performance in this. It has its moments but doesn’t quite work.
