Watership Down 1978
Going into this movie blind due to only knowing of it from the niche Gundam manga which borrows names from the series for it's mobile shit designs made this quite an experience. I'm not sure if I'd peg it as "traumatizing" as some other people have described it but it was definitely heavier than expected. Overall, tremendously entertaining.

Between Faye Wong's cover of Dreams, and California Dreamin' the score for this movie has me in an absolute chokehold.
Compared to Fallen Angels' and the first half of this movie's relationships, I did not feel as captured by 663 and Faye's relationship. It wasn't until near the last 15-20 minutes of the movie that I started feeling as much as had earlier on in the movie. This is just an observation, and perhaps this is more of a reflection on myself than it is on the movies itself.

82 minutes of Char aura farming?Excellent. -1 star because it felt like Char was cheating on Amuro with his new alternate universe boyfriend.
A concise alternate universe retelling of the One Year War with callbacks to 0079's original sound design. CG for action scenes felt weighty and didn't detract from the experience. Hoping that the Gquuuuuux anime can keep this momentum!
