The music stopping when the pirate jumps onto the ladder and first boards the ship goes crazy. Love this movie, the tension is amazing

Gladiator II 2024
It was decent, nothing on the first. Denzel carried the movie as always but his character’s conclusion was quite weak. Pedro’s character was a bit of a disappointment and Paul Mescal was just a more sauceless attempt at being Russell Crowe. Gladiator scenes were great as well as the red vs blue army on the battlefield which gave off Ran vibes.
All in all it was an entertaining action movie but did not invoke nearly as much emotion or have as good a plot or performances as the first.

Usually wouldn’t write a review but this is one of the greatest films I have ever watched, gripping from start to finish. The Final Cut - extended to 3 hours long and edited over several years by Coppola himself, finally putting the finishing touches on his masterpiece that he spent $7 million of his own money to finish.
