Really was looking forward to this one but just didn't feel right. Too much going on, jokes didn't always land, a lot of cheesey dialogue.
It was weird. The movie had way bigger stakes than the first (the fate of the whole galaxy), but also was trying to be smaller and more intimate. It didn't really work.
Wanted to love it, but it was just okay. Still love James Gunn and hope he does better with the 3rd one.
It did have a great soundtrack though.
Finally a good DCEU movie. A lot of charm to this movie, but feels like it is really marketed towards younger audiences. Definitely a good flick for young girls to see a strong heroic female character.
Cons: Too much slow-motion action, and a lot of cheesey lines (especially in the final fight), but hey it's a superhero flick.
WOW this movie was phenomenal. A horror/thriller masterpiece. This movie has it all. Genuine suspense + dread, with just the right amount of comedic moments to lighten it up. Jordan Peele writes a fantastic script, and the directing is top notch.
That opening music sets up the whole mood, and that ending. Wow. Just wow. Definitely going to be one of the top films, if not the best film, of 2017.
WHAT A GREAT MOVIE!!! Honestly this thing is a masterpiece. Easily the best movie in the trilogy. Go see it you won't be disappointed!!
