“That was a close one. Daddy loves froggy.”
Just an amazing movie. It was absurd, it was thought provoking, it had wild jokes that would prevent this movie from ever being the subject of a horrific remake, what more can you ask for?
Also Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder are a whole power couple.

The beginning of the manic depression episodes, which the remaining directors apparently shared, called Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban through Deathly Hallows
It’s lost so much of the warmth of the first movie which I realize is meant to reflect the decline we feel as we grow up and begin to see the bad in the world instead of just the good, which is tragic, but not as cozy as a movie that lets you forget about all that, like the Philosophers Stone.
Also there is some genuinely interesting plot writing with the whole time thing at the end that’s quite cool honestly.
