  Deadpool & Wolverine 2024

  I went into the movie thinking I’d be tired of the Deadpool humor. Turns out I’m still immature. It had a couple points where the jokes didn’t land, but overall hilarious and a ton of action. 
  Doesn’t feel like Marvel’s return but a great one off if so.

  Sometimes you just watch a movie that makes you forget everything else that’s going on and just feel whatever the movie is trying to express. This is one of those movies. 

  It was adapted from a play, which makes sense because the entire movie takes place inside Charlie’s house. It is dialogue heavy and relies a lot on Brendan Fraser’s body language to  emphasize his thoughts and emotions. That said, the hype is real over Brendan’s potential Oscar worthy performance.…

  I haven’t  felt this conflicted about a movie in a while. I’ve also never seen a movie excel at so well with the production yet fall as flat as it did with the writing and acting in the first two acts. 

  The good:
  The cinematography is amazing. The movie had a 4th of the budget a marvel or Warner brothers movie gets yet the CGI was better than anything I’ve seen. And somehow Gareth made the movie appear like it…
