This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Black bag has everything you want. Soderbergh in his bag, fassbender and blanchett being amazing movie stars, spies, intrigue, lying, a great score, a “idk what’s really going on but I’m loving it” and all in 90 minutes. Soderbergh does it again!

My Darling Clementine 1946
Ford’s ability to use shadow and light in this is honestly amazing. And it really shows when he shoots his night sequences. The best example though is Chihuahua going into surgery with shadow all around her. Love the shot of Doc reciting Shakespeare with smoke riding around him too. There’s so many incredible shots of the desert vistas too, a ford staple. What Ford does so well in this is create an amazing atmosphere. Through these vignettes we get to…

For the first 20 minutes I thought “well the music is terrible but maybe this movie is over-hated” then the movie kept going for another hour and 50 minutes. The music was really horrible, and the dancing was almost as bad. I don’t know why I felt compelled to watch the whole damn thing but it just kept getting worse. Like a deadly car crash that I can’t stop watching but after the car crash is over I think to myself “damn I wish I was in that deadly car crash so I wouldn’t have to remember watching that deadly car crash”
