  I like my spy thrillers with a little more action but the plot twists and sprinkles of comedy left me pretty satisfied. Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett played a great MI6 Mr. and Mrs. Smith analog. The tight 90 minute runtime is always appreciated.

  This movie had me pretty gripped for the first half but I felt that it lost steam after the intermission. In the beginning I was struck by its ability to remind me of the preciousness of human connection in a 1940s world where letters are the primary mode of international communication. 

  I was really hoping for a lot more architectural spectacle and appreciation.
