Oh, Yeah! 1929
Characteristically awkward to be sure but Garnett gives the hang out moments a great energy and I'm a sucker for a movie based on a Saturday Evening Post article. Zasu Pitts and James Gleason are very lovable and the music is fun and representative of the singing brakeman era of culture. The plot is largely useless but the characters are enjoyable and the setting has a ragged charm that I enjoyed even if I'll forget about it in a few weeks.
