“helloooo !? did anybody lose their secret CIA shit !”

Never knew I needed a Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand team up so badly , and never have I wanted to rewatch something so immediately . Hilarious

Bravoooo such a fun watch. Simple, effective, straight to the point revenge thriller. It feels v human in how sloppy and careless the decision making is across the board as two under-qualified parties attempt to enact revenge on the other. Love it

When I first saw this years ago I didn’t realize just how McDonagh-y it is hahaha. Balancing complex characters and heavy subject matter while staying relentlessly funny when it needs to be, I fucking love it. The film feels so unbiased to the billboard situation, giving little direction as far as who to side with. Great commentary on grief, forgiveness, retribution. My only problem is how quickly Dixon’s redemption arc went down. Also that fucking deer… still so so good and one of my favorite casts of all time

This movie is so depressing. I love it. From the color grading, to the dialogue, to almost every character in this thing, it’s so damn cold. My favorite Oscar Isaac performance. I find Llewyn insufferable yet I want him to escape his unforgiving cycle of bad luck so badly. The “I’m tired” scene broke me. eh actually like 10+ scenes did. Carey mulligan is also brilliant in her obscenities + of course John Goodman comes in and steals the show for a sec. 10/10 hopeless film . will be rewatching asap
