  Martin Scorsese is eating his heart out rn, THIS IS CINEMA

  A Romeo and Juliet story where Romeo is a Jesus-hating emo and Juliet is a devout Christian. Also it's a musical.

  I started watching this because it looked like the biggest monstrosity ever conceived but soon realised it was ironic and satirical genius. Best movie I have watched of the century 10/10, I rated it a 2 here bc it's too powerful to be given a score that truly reflects its genius and depth.
