Good not great. I thought a
Complete unknown did a good job, made me more interested in the music and finding out more about bob.

I didn’t believe Tim’s performance as bob at times during the movie. To me I could see that he was acting as bob so it took me out at points in the movie.

Still a good performance. I think it’s the whole accent thing, he went a little too hard into a sort of stereotypical…

Although it’s really nothing like the book. It’s still a childhood favourite if you can take it for what it is and not compare to the book, it’s a good time.

Although the themes can be taken lightly at times the overall message is still there, the concerto scene is one of my fav film scenes ever. So uplifting yet sad at the same time.

    Hans Zimmer soundtrack is amazing.

    Couldn’t be more relevant today.

Love Kubrick’s direction with this movie leaving the viewer to devise their own theories about what’s going on behind close doors, visual clues to help decipher the real meaning of the narrative.

There’s a lot to unpack with this film, which makes good for multiple viewings. Finding something new each time! Whether it’s a different perspective or something you may have missed.

Haunting soundtrack, moody atmosphere. Great cast, exceptional film.

Falls a little flat, great cinematography! Maybe slightly too long. Lilly Depp’s character seemed to be a bit of one trick pony in the sense that most of her scenes were her just her screaming, dreaming and having seizures, there was a lot of bark but to me the the performance lacked depth and her character felt a bit one dimensional in a sense, even though she acted great the character lacked depth.

Not so much a horror film more…
