Colossus: The Forbin Project 1970
A great scientist becomes a slave to his own creation which eventually leads to the enslavement of the whole humanity. Despite being from the cold war era this film manages to still hold relevance today. I find it really interesting how back then people had similar views on AI as they do today. The film lost me at the mistress plot and from that point onwards became a little boring. However, I did like the unresolved ending.
