The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare 2024
Favorite movie of 2024 (so far). Guy Richie had fun with this one. Cavill continues to prove he’s underrated as an action movie star, Alan Ritchson holds his own, and the rest of the cast is nothing to sneeze at.
Great pacing, wild story (based on true events), and the balance between action and comedy is perfect.
Will be watching this one a few more times in theaters.

For me, there’s one universal truth to this film — it’s exhausting. It doesn’t entertain you, it drains you. When the lights come up, nobody is clapping… the silence is almost deafening. People leave the theater, their spirits heavier than when they came into it.
