Fincher has made some amazing films (fight club, gone girl, zodiac) and he is good as making a film that allows an eerie feeling throughout the scenes. With that being said being said the presence of weather, rain, darkness throughout all the murders and investigations was key. I always had put this movie off because of someone who isn’t really a fan of musicals, but wow. I think everyone has probably said that after this movie, but the cinematography is beautiful. The lighting. How it’s all put together. I just think this movie was brilliant in the most heartbreaking way.
