Matthew McConaughey helping his obvious favorite, oddly-named child save humanity.
Beautiful aesthetically, sonically, and emotionally. Matt Damon being named "Mann" and having him be reckless and selfish is also a perfect metaphor of humans, even if a bit edgelord-ish. TARS is a real one, too. I know he's programmed to be loyal to the end, but he reminds me of Charles Smith from Red Dead Redemption 2. Fabulous character and cool design.

One of the best sci-fi sequels since Terminator 2, no joke.
Crazy to me that despite having pre-cognition of a holy war, Paul still decides to follow that path. Interested to see how Chani plays a role in his ascendency to messiah or martyrdom. I know I could read the books, but the experience of the films can't be beat.
The cinematic experience is near-impossible to top. The action is phenomenal, the settings are lively, and the character and costume design is top notch. This film has everything for the casual and keen-eyed viewer.
