This movie is just a fun time and the court scenes are magical. Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei are great and I was captivated even after watching it hundreds of times. The twists and turns of the movie are unexpected and it does get some laughs out of me. The iconic last court scenes make the movie special with creating performances all around. It’s no masterpiece, it’s a dumb movie in honesty, but it is done so well and always a treat to rewatch.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers 1978
This shit was whacky because it’s age, but its atmosphere is immaculate. The acting is great, the premise is cool, the ending is slightly corny but the implications are powerful. The pacing and build up was done very well and it’s a great example of not needing to show much to build tension. Donald Sutherland is one of the best actors ever and he carries. The effects reminded me of The Thing a lot and they aged decently. All around a great psychological sci-fi film for a rainy day

Rome, Open City 1945
Of all the old Italian movies I had to watch for the class, this was by far the most entertaining. Setting is good, plot is pretty good, acting is great even from the child actors. Tragic movie, with a lot of dark scenes and great cinematography for the time. The budget was low and you can tell, sound is shit even for the time, but I still enjoyed the emotional story unfolding, I was engaged the whole way through. Would I recommend it? No but it’s solid.

This movie is a trip, this shit is a psychological emotional story which is surprisingly funny. Jack Nicholson carries as always and has an all time performance. I have never had such a hatred for a character as Nurse Ratched and that performance was immaculate due to being a psychological torture and villain. This shit made me mentally ill.
