Jesse Eisenberg’s 2nd feature film is extremely intimate and sincere, most likely a very cathartic experience for him as he got to travel and see his real ancestral home and roots
It’s also extremely funny and has a near perfect balance between the comedic and dramatic elements
But it’s Kieran Culkin who’s the real star of the show, wearing multiple emotions on his sleeve in a very raw role. I expect him to get a lot of awards recognition later…
I really enjoy Aaron Sorkin’s work, for the most part, but my god sometimes I wish he would slow down for just a few minutes. It really starts to wear on you after a while

I can't believe that "Special Ambassadors" Jon Voight, Sylvester Stallone, and Mel Gibson have already started to bring us back to the Golden Age of Hollywood with films like Flight Risk
If these are the kind of films we're going to get from that group moving forward, then please make sure to only release them in January so I know to avoid them at all costs
I really don’t think this is going to be a lot of people’s cup of tea, but I thought it was brilliant. Not a lot of filmmakers could pull this off with full sincerity, but the Zellners absolutely commit and bring a heartfelt and hilarious story to life with the help of their dedicated cast
That said, as a fellow advertiser, I pity the advertising team at Bleecker Street because this is gonna be a tough one to market
