  Having recently watched Cheryl Dunye’s Watermelon Woman, I saw so many links with this movie. Using archives to tell the stories of women who were purposefully erased from history. Also kind of an anomaly for the time they were produced. Some very powerful images, especially panning from women in Burqas sitting on the beach to men swimming and playing in bathing suits.

  Why is this movie paced so well? These 2 hours flew by. Love a movie where everyone is in one area. Wish they gave Isabella more screen time
