For a Troma movie, the tone is very different from other movies they’ve made. The quirkiness and zaniness are still there of course but toned way down. The cast put on a great performance, everything’s about to end with a neat little bow on it but the very last moment of the movie kills any sense of finality and closure all for the sake of a weird gag. Decent movie overall but the ending puts a bad taste in your mouth.

Thanksgiving 2023
Thanksgiving is a very welcome addition to the slasher genre, taking its spot amongst the incredibly few thanksgiving themed horror movies out there. The movie has an amazing blend of humor and jaw dropping gore, and add an iconic killer and you’ve got yourself a classic. The who-done-it nature of the movie that’s centered around a group of high schoolers also feels like an homage to the Scream franchise without feeling like a cheap imitation. This movie is a load of fun, and you’ll be so stuffed that there won’t be any room for leftovers!

Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV 2000
After watching Toxic Avenger 1-4 back to back for the first time. This one is clearly the lowest in the series. It attempts to bring back the gore and offensiveness of the first but goes so overboard that it’s practically exhausting to watch. This on top of the fact that it tries to write off 2 and 3 and say that this one is the true sequel really made me disagree with the direction of this movie pretty much immediately.…
