tldr: kano carried this movie
probably the angriest i’ve ever felt after watching a movie. completely unnecessary changes to the source material, a painfully boring main character that could’ve been replaced by anyone from the canon (johnny cage deserved this spot), and the feeling of unfulfillment from the plot as it was a mis-advertised prequel to the tournament without ANY of the charm of mortal kombat.
