Florence Pugh may just be the best actress of her generation, Garfield has already proven he’s got his chops. This movie was sad but not as brutal as I expected - it faces dark subjects with optimism which is refreshing compared to other much more depressing films in the romance genre. The impending and terminal aspect isn’t at the forefront of the film but instead the quality of life you have with loved ones. The petrol station scene was my favourite part.

Better Man 2024
Monkey man with a perm does drugs and develops an obsessive desire to be the character that everyone else believes he is, all at the cost of his own mental health and relationships. I was describing Ali’s university days. Separately this biopic was dark(especially the latter half), bizarre, redemptive and a late entry to one of the best movies of 2024.
