This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I just finished this movie and I am still sitting in awe. I couldn’t tell if I felt bad for Tom or hated him and I loved that. The only time I supported his motive was killing Freddy. Freddy was a jackass. The character that is Tom Ripley is like a Russian nesting doll and his final monologue shows so much pain. The duplicity of Tom, the pacing of the film, the death of Peter, it was all executed so well.
